A Train of Thought

2006 Myers School of Art Scholarship Show

Mobirise

Once there was a time when I was almost awesome. I was a 35-year-old art student at the Myers School of Art when I entered A Train of Thought in the annual scholarship art show. The context of the 7 pieces gave the narrative of the decisions that are made are the responsibility of the individual and affect the world around the individual. It is up to the individual to break the pattern to transcend beyond the current situation.

It was surprising to me that I won first place in the show. I think I reached a level that to this day I still haven’t come to realize. Almost that there is something out there that I cannot quite grasp.
